Welcome to A+ Angus Ranch for the final chapter of what has been an extremely enjoyable experience in the Angus breed. All good things must come to an end, and the time is right for our herd manager who has done so much for A+ Angus Ranch to move on with his life and explore new horizons and for the Allen family to shift our focus to the commercial side of the Angus breed.
We greatly appreciate the many customers that have become good friends over the course of our time in this business. The success of A+ Angus is due to many of these good friends. We will take great pleasure seeing our friends build on these great genetics that were created here and enjoy success with them. The only good business deal is one that works for both the buyer and the seller and we have been very pleased to see our buyers make money with their A+ investments. With the large number of embryo pregnancies and young embryo calves in this sale offering, there will be many diamonds in the rough sold on March 5, 2005.
At the 2004 Denim & Diamonds Sale in Denver, Colorado, a young female purchased as a diamond in the rough from A+ was the $72,000 top-selling female. At the 2004 Sandpoint Cattle Company Sale, a heifer purchased last spring as an $11,000 diamond in the rough was the $35,000 top-selling open heifer just six months later. In their 2003 fall sale, JACs Ranch sold half interest of the $16,000 young female they bought from our 2003 spring sale for $22,000. Davis on the Highlands generated $72,000 from the sale of the young female they bought as a $15,000 heifer calf from our 2002 sale with just the sale of the cow and her first two daughters and her prolific embryo production pushed their total return on investment even higher.
Thank you to Parker Friedrich and his family for the hours, days, weeks, and years of their lives that have been dedicated to making A+ what it is today. Thank you to our past customers and to each of you for taking time to study this presentation of the final chapter of this program. May God bless each of you and may he bring you peace and Angus prosperity.
Sincerely,
J. Brad Allen and Nancy J. Allen
